Saint Augustin at Illua Hotel in Haeundae, Busan

   When I want to eat something special in a beautiful restaurant, I always visit Saint Augustin at Illua Hotel.

   It is my favorite restaurant on Dalmaji-gil that I visit every New Year! ✨

1. Restaurant Outside & Parking

   When you drive along the beautiful tree tunnel of Dalmaji-gil, you will see the bright lights of Hotel Illua. 🌲🌙

   There is a big automatic parking lot right next to the hotel.
It has 3 floors and can hold about 100 cars. If you eat at the restaurant, parking is free.

   Walk through the revolving door at the entrance and take the escalator up. Then you will see the lobby of Saint Augustin.

   They use the CatchTable waiting system here too. There is a big lounge with comfortable sofas, so you can wait easily even on busy days.

2. The Menu at Saint Augustin Busan

   While waiting, I looked at the menu book. They have special set menus recommended by the restaurant, fresh salads, cooked vegetables, 🥗 small dishes to try as appetizers, and famous Thai fried noodles and noodle soups. 🍜✨

   You can also choose from rice bowls, curries, fried rice, shrimp and seafood dishes, Saint Augustin’s best-selling foods, beef and chicken dishes, 🥩 and drinks.

   Everything looks so delicious that it is always hard to choose.

3. Inside the Restaurant

   From the entrance, the restaurant feels very exotic. Beautiful Thai decorations and elephant figures are displayed on the shelves. 🐘🪷

   The staff guided us inside. I looked around and felt it was a perfect luxury hotel restaurant with a great atmosphere.

   When you sit down, they pour water into beautiful wine glasses. We ordered Set A, the most popular menu at Saint Augustin. 🇹🇭✨

      Tip: Ordering a set menu is much cheaper than buying dishes separately!

4. Poo Phad Pong Curry & King Prawn Pad Thai

   Poo Phad Pong Curry is the number one best-selling food
at Saint Augustin.

   It is a famous Thai dish made with crispy fried crab with a soft shell, served with a yellow curry. 🦀🍛

   A close friend recommended it to me, so it was my first time trying it. The curry was very soft and rich, and the crab was so tender that it was easy to cut. It felt like it melted in my mouth!

   It was a bit spicy overall. My husband, who cannot eat spicy food well, said it was quite hot for him. 🌶️

   Set A comes with white rice and yellow pickled radish, so it is good to eat them together to lower the heat.

   Next was the King Prawn Pad Thai, the most famous Thai noodle dish. 🦐🍜

   It has rice noodles fried with chives, bean sprouts, eggs, and crushed peanuts. A big, delicious king prawn was placed on top.

   The king prawn was huge and full of meat, and the small shrimp inside were also very plump. ✨

   This Pad Thai also has chili, but it tastes more sweet and sour, so it was not spicy at all. My husband also said the Pad Thai was not spicy!

   However, because of the chili oil, it felt a bit greasy on the lips. People say Thai food is originally like this, but I wished it was a little less oily.

   Still, Pad Thai is always delicious! 💖

   On our way out, I took a picture of the beautiful night view. The LCT building, where I stayed with my friends before, was shining brightly with other buildings.

   If you want to find a beautiful restaurant with delicious Thai food near Haeundae, Busan, I highly recommend Saint Augustin at Illua Hotel!
