To celebrate our housewarming, we visited One Fine Day, a popular seafood home-style restaurant near Ilgwang Beach in Busan, famous for its abalone rice, snow crab rice bowl, and butter-grilled abalone.✨

1. Restaurant Exterior & Parking
The restaurant is located right in front of Ilgwang Beach. Walk past the A Twosome Place café, and you’ll easily spot One Fine Day with its elegant gold sign.
There are parking spaces marked with yellow lines on both sides of the entrance. If the parking lot is full, guests can use the nearby gravel parking area.
You’ll also find a Catchtable waiting system and the menu displayed outside.
The restaurant offers six main menu items:
- Abalone Rice
- Snow Crab Rice Bowl
- Butter-Grilled Abalone
- Marinated Shrimp Rice Bowl
- Abalone Porridge
- Soy Sauce Marinated Shrimp
2. Inside the Restaurant
One Fine Day specializes in home-style seafood dishes. It’s a wonderful place for dining with family, meeting friends, or enjoying a date.
Although I couldn’t fully capture it in photos, the restaurant was much larger than I expected. There were plenty of spacious tables, making it a great choice for large groups as well.
The restaurant welcomes over 100,000 visitors every year, and the parking area is large enough to accommodate tour buses.
Several Korean celebrities, including Ahn Bo-hyun, Aiki, and Jang Min-ho, have also visited.
We were seated by the window and placed our order using a tablet.
Abalone Rice – ₩17,000

Each of us ordered a rice dish, and since everything looked so delicious, we couldn’t resist adding the butter-grilled abalone.😋
3. Abalone Rice, Snow Crab Rice Bowl & Butter-Grilled Abalone
Since there were four of us, we ordered:
- Two Abalone Rice
- Two Snow Crab Rice Bowls
- Five pieces of Butter-Grilled Abalone
The meal also came with several side dishes, including salad, pickles, and salted seafood.
One Fine Day uses abalone innards from Wando in every rice dish. They’re known for being rich in nutrients and are believed to support healthy skin, blood circulation, and the immune system.
The restaurant’s signature Abalone Rice was topped with a mildly spicy and creamy rosé sauce. The colorful presentation looked beautiful, and the sauce added wonderful depth of flavor.
The rich abalone innard rice became even more flavorful with the creamy rosé sauce, while the fresh abalone had a pleasantly chewy texture.
Next came the Snow Crab Rice Bowl. Just looking at it made me crave seafood. It was beautifully served inside a real crab shell, making the presentation even more appetizing.
The bowl was topped with egg yolk, abalone innards, flying fish roe, snow crab meat, green chili, sesame seeds, and rice. Simply mix everything together before enjoying it.
I tried a bite from my friend’s bowl. The first thing I noticed was how fresh it tasted. There was absolutely no fishy flavor from the abalone innards.
The seasoning was perfectly balanced, and the popping texture of the flying fish roe made every bite even more enjoyable.🦀🍚
Finally, we enjoyed the Butter-Grilled Abalone. The abalone was tender, juicy, and wonderfully chewy, with the rich aroma of butter in every bite.
Dipping it into the special sauce served in a beautiful flower-shaped dish made it even more delicious.
It had been a while since I last met up with my friends. Sharing such delicious seafood together while enjoying the beautiful view of Ilgwang Beach made the day feel even more special.🌊✨
Although we had to brave strong wind and rain, the charming seaside scenery made every moment worthwhile. It truly became our own “One Fine Day.”
